Tsunami Update 6: Dining to Donate in Houston
By JULIETTE ROSSSANT On January 30, 2005, six of Houston's top chefs will come together to raise funds for children of the 2004 Tsunami, by offering a six-course meal at the Aries restaurant, according to The Houston Business Journal.The fundraising chefs are Robert Del Grande of Cafe Annie, Charles Clark of Ibiza Food & Wine Bar, Monica Pope of T'afia, Philippe Schmit of Bistro Moderne, Scott Tycer of Aries, and Laura Hamilton of Rainbow Lodge. Ticket prices range from $250 to $500. A donated wine collection will also be auctioned.
