Chefs and restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area are participating in a number of fundraisers for victims of the 2004 Tsunami, according to The San Jose Mercury:
- Three Seasons Vietnamese in Palo Alto: donated 50% gross sales on January 23, 2005, to the American Red Cross' Tsunami Relief Fund.
- The Asian Chefs Association: hosting a gala reception on February 7, 2005, at the San Francisco Hilton, 333 O'Farrell Street featuring food samplings from Ana Mandara, Aqua, Gaylord India, Straits, Three Seasons, and Tommy Toy's Cuisine Chinoise. Honig Winery and Sake World Imports will provide beverages. Dance troupes will perform from Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, China, and India. Most of the proceeds go to 2004 Tsunami relief efforts by Give2Asia.org and the Asia Foundation: tickets range $200-$350
- Il Fornaio: donating 10% of food sales on January 31, 2005, to American Red Cross tsunami relief efforts.
- E&O Trading Company: adding any amount requested by their customers to their checks, along with a portion of proceeds from the restaurants over the next few months, for donation to CARE. Each donation creates a raffle ticket: eight donors will win a one-day cooking class with E&O's Executive Chef Barney Brown.
- Prima in Walnut Creek: hosting a three-course dinner with wine pairing today, in conjunction with One Sri Lanka Foundation, with full $125-per-person proceeds for housing of Sri Lankan orphans.
- Poggio in Sausalito: donating 10% of sales all day on January 31, 2005, to the American Red Cross for tsunami relief efforts.

Couldn't find an online link for you but a Dublin (CA) Indian restaurant was serving free food all weekend and asking for donations. I think I read they raised over $6,000.
