Tom Colicchio: Craftsteak 2

By JULIETTE ROSSANT Word up from Florence Fabricant in The New York Times today is that Tom Colicchio will be opening a Craftsteak at 85 10th Avenue @ 15th Street -- appropriately in the Meat Packing District. The "Craftsteak 2" (the original Craftsteak being in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand (see Super Chef, pp.198-200) will be next door to Del Posto, a restaurant which Mario Batali, Joseph Bastianich, and Lidia Bastianich expect to open in late summer and across the street from the new "Morimoto 2", also to open this summer and the second for Iron Chef and Iron Chef America star Masaharu Morimoto after his first in Philadelphia.
