Superchefblog: Catalyst for White House Woman Chef?

By JULIETTE ROSSANT

Mary Sue Milliken and Susan FenigerCould it be that the top choice on superchefblog's poll as to who should be White House guest chefs -- cooking duo Mary Sue Millken and Susan Feniger -- inspired the board of directors of Women Chef and Restaurateurs to write their letter to First Lady Laura Bush asking for a woman executive chef for the first time at the White House?

Several readers believe so, pointing out that:
  1. Superchefblog reported two women super chefs as top choice for White House guest chef on March 1, 2005.

  2. Several founders and members of Women Chef and Restaurateurs are superchefblog subscribers.

  3. Women Chefs and Restaurateurs write their letter to Mrs. Bush on March 7, 2005
What do you think? Reader comments are welcome.

Here is some Media covering the WCR letter:If so, superchefblog thanks again fellow food blogs who supported the poll and helped direct voters to the superchefblog polling point:And superchefblog again thanks you the voters who helped make this come about (or not).
