Bobby Flay: Tonight Show With Jay Leno

By JULIETTE ROSSANT

Bobby FlayBobby Flay appeared last night on Late Night, With Jay Leno to promote his latest book, Bobby Flay's Grilling For Life (see previous article).

Bobby had the second slot, following comedian Don Rickles. Jay and Don reminisced about the late great Johnny Carson (see previous article) and shared a lot of old-style jokes, with lots of Nazi accusations floating around and enough politically incorrect references to Jews, Blacks, and Indians to get most other people under 75 years old a serious reprimand.

Tonight Show logoBobby cooked grilled lamb chops with an oregano vinagrette and tsatsiki, followed by fresh apricots with chocolate and toasted almonds. While they cooked, Bobby got to mention his Iron Chef America gig on Food Network, his marriage to Stephanie March, his four restaurants, and the meal his nine-year-old daughter cooked him for Father's Day.

Bobby was cool, collected, and humorous without competing with Jay.
