Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund
By JULIETTE ROSSANT Former U.S. Presidents George H. W. Bush and William J. Clinton announced yesterday their new Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund.Only cash (e.g., online credit card donations) are being accepted, according to the fund (see FAQ), and monies will be disbursed by governors of the states of Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi in consultation with Presidents Bush and Clinton. Both presidents thanks H. Lee Scott Jr. of Walmart, which donated $15 million on September 1.
