The Nigella Effect
By JULIETTE ROSSANT ![]() First there was the"Jamie Effect" - Jamie Oliver's campaign to improve British school food meant that companies making junk food for school cafeterias faced shrinking markets and shrinking stock values. Now, there is the "Nigella effect" hitting British pocketbooks. The Nigella Effect started as a run on goose fat after Nigella Lawson described it as an essential Christmas dinner ingredient.
