Holiday Gifts: Preserve Cutting Boards
By JULIETTE ROSSANT ![]() Form follows function, but then add future (as in Future of Our Planet) and you get the Preserve cutting board made by Recycline. It looks like slate, and has the heft and strength you want in a cutting board, and yet it is made of Paperstone, which is 100% post-consumer recycled paper and resins. Cut Kobe beef on it, stick it in the dishwasher, then serve cheese and crackers on this handsome cutting board. There are other great Preserve products that made from recycled plastic – brightly colored cutting boards, colanders and storage containers. Say no to Tupperware and Glad until those companies start to make a dent in the amount of plastic we throw away. Two years ago Super Chef recommended knifes for a Valentine's Day gift. These cutting boards treat those knife edges with just the right amount of tenderness.
