FOOD FLICKS: A Homegrown Revolution

Alice Waters brought her mission to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland this week. She and her chefs prepared a meal using locally sourced ingredients at the Hotel Schatzalp. Michael Pollan, Orville Schell and Peter Sellars spoke at the dinner. The chefs who coordinated with Alice are David Lindsay, who is a Chez Panisse alum and now cooks for the US Ambassador to Switzerland, and Jennifer Sherman, a former Chez Panisse chef who is based in Berkeley. Here is the menu:

The World Economic Forum also has panels on food including “Rethinking the Food Chain” and “Are We Being Bio-Foolish”.
