Grill It! with Bobby Flay
By JULIETTE ROSSANT ![]() Take one part Boy Meets Grill and one part Throwdown with Bobby Flay and maybe one part BBQ with Bobby Flay, what do you get? Grill It! with Bobby Flay. The idea is that grilling maniacs who post videos are chosen to join Bobby Flay who creates their recipes and shares tips. Sounds like a good show, right? Especially launching in July, just when those barbies all across the country are heated up for July 4th 'cue. What's the problem then? When Super Chef checked the Food Network site this morning, there were only 12 videos posted - including Bobby's own inviting BBQers - with a deadline of April 10th fast approaching. The two-to-three minute videos range from Nature's Crockpot - Cooking in a Watermellon to Awesome Lucky Duck. Are there really so few BBQ cooking fanatics out there or are there just too many shows inviting viewers to participate? Or are there just too many BBQ show with Bobby Flay? Wait till July to find out. Super Chef has asked the Food Network to clarify whether kids and professional chefs can submit videos, and whether this show is about grilling or barbecuing...
