Paul Bocuse: Ouest Express Inspiration
By JULIETTE ROSSANT![]() Unlike the Los Angeles Times, Super Chef was not surprised to learn that Paul Bocuse has opened his first fast food restaurant, Ouest Express in Lyon, France. ![]() After all, it was way back in 1970s that Chef Paul visited McDonald's with journalist and translator Colette Rossant. She recollects in her book, The World in My Kitchen, how he enjoyed the Egg McMuffin and French fries and asked to speak to the chef (read the excerpt from her book here)... The only question Super Chef asks is: what took Bocuse so long? No doubt he won't take long to open up a vast chain of Expresses all over Europe. Unless some other super chef gets there first.
