Every Freaking Day with Rachell Ray
By JULIETTE ROSSANT![]() If the FLN's Whatever, Martha! didn't strike a cord with you, but you are longing for a send-up of Food Network personalities, then try Every Freaking! Day with Rachell Ray (Grand Central Publishing 2008), an unauthorized parody of Every Day with Rachael Ray by Elizabeth Hilts. If you liked the Rachael Ray Drinking Game, then you'll love this silliness. It is a hoot! Just take a look at the cover teasers of this faux magazine: Oh My Buns: Burgers of the Month ![]() The book claims to have 10,081 recipes, which is absurd -- and the whole point. Inside, you'll find the Rachael Ray look-alike holding up a cake that is made out of foam disks to which are glued Ring Dings, Yodels, and Hostess Chocolate Cup Cakes. On another page, Rachell's editorial suggests a centerpiece of Rachael Ray cookbooks. (p. 11) In the article called Snackies for Lay-Z-Daze! there's even an irreverent Madonna praying pressed into toast. Check out the rest of the "issue" for yourself.
