Detroit’s Reva Bell-Constantine

Super Chef has been following the career of Detroit’s Reva Bell-Constantine ever since interviewing her for an article about African-American Women Fine Dining Chefs for Heart & Soul Magazine.

Congratulations to Reva for winning a $7,000 prize in a culinary competition, Ford Arts, Beats & Eats. Reva is now chef at Joe’s Produce & Gourmet Market in Livonia. She beat six other chefs with a trio of desserts that included a lime-raspberry sorbet made with dry ice, key lime cupcake and spicy lime truffle according to the Detroit Free Press. Sounds like Reva is ready for prime time.
